Job Board
The Shattered Anvil job board is a place to keep up with current ongoing story lines. As well as seek out adventures on your own time with friends in and out of the FC.
Rules and Regulations
The Idea behind the job board is twofold. Firstly it is to help keep everyone up to date on the broad strokes of ongoing FC storylines. Secondly it is a place for you the player to come and find an activity to do with friends in and out of the FC. Jobs, and adventures will be listed here, some that require a DM and some that are self made and self played.We want to foster a space where you have the freedom to choose where and how your character is involved as well as who they are involved with. This also gives people a chance to DM their own small events while offering a simple guide/storyline to do so. Please do not hesitate to reach out to the listed DM for an event or @plotwriter in discord if you get stuck or need help.You can find the form at the bottom of this page to submit your own adventure or story for everyone to enjoy. Please submit Ongoing Stories using the form provided.Below you will find a breakdown of the different story types.All gil payments are IC only unless otherwise statedPlease feel free to leave a report or short story of your adventure in discord. Or come to a venue night and detail your exploits in character for your friends.
Ongoing Stories
These are our ongoing story arcs within the company. We will try to have two of these running at all times to ensure a spread of activities are available.These ongoing stories are meant for everyone to enjoy, you may not be able to attend every event but you will be able to keep up with the story. These events will be DM'd by a single storyteller or a group of storytellers.
Hunt Marks
One shot events that can be run without the need for a dedicated DM. Grab a friend or two or three, really as many as you want I'm not your mom. Take off on an adventure to complete these quests at your leisure.The idea behind these is to give the player an adventure hook to pursue on their own time without the need for moderation or DM involvement. Be sure to @plotwriter in discord so I can update the marks as taken should you and your friends decide to embark on one of these adventures.Adders Tasks: These are Bi-Weekly Events that will be DM'd and Hosted by Kiyo. Dungeon Dives
I heard these places are loaded down with treasure. These will have a DM or Plot Writer listed. They may be in or outside of a dungeon. They are short one shot adventures that can be collaborated on with the listed DM or @plotwriter.
Odd Jobs and Research
Looking for a more relaxed job? not interested in slaying monsters today? These will be events and adventures that are more on the social side of things. Anything from gathering fish to reading the latest release of Eorzean romance novels can be found here.

Sharlayan Missive - There's a man who sits at the bar, a Miquote by the name of U'odh Nuhn, his retainer Mia is always nearby...He is said to know how to find the home of the ancients, but it is very likely a lie. Catch him and bring him in for questioning. If he truly knows this information we cannot risk him spreading it to the world...though it is more like he is an old drunkard. Be on your guard though, I have seen U'odh in battle, he will not be easily taken down. Report to the Sharlayan Council.

Artifacts or Artifice
Something sinister lurks within the Dzemael Darkhold, find it and defeat it. You will likely encounter a number of beasts while you are down there, so keep your weapons sharp and your wits sharper…and don’t forget while you're at it keep your eyes open for any ancient artifacts that can be added to the company's collection.

Recipe's from the Depths
Gather your friends, a party of no more then 3.
This event will need to be scheduled in advance with the listed DM.Kiyo has heard of a book of recipes hidden somewhere within The Lost City of Amdapor. Retrieve the lost tomb and bring it to the baker in exchange for a sack of gil and a slice of cheesecake.

Ocean Fishing
The soup kitchens of Eorzea need your help!Get some friends together and go on an Ocean Fishing trip. Bring back your catch to any of the soup kitchens in Eorzea. It's not archaeology it's philanthropy. Help to feed your fellow man and make some good memories along the way.
Runes of Power
Susy has a standing request for imagery to be brought to her - symbols of power, sigils, runes - that she can incorporate into her tattoo designs! Any and all research is welcome!If you happen across any of these in your adventures scouring old ruins, please bring them to Susaan Kagon for further study.

These are bi-weekly one shot events that can be run by anyone who wishes to help.
Southern Thanalan, Little Ala Mhigo
Just outside of the ruins south of the encampment, is a pile of undead. Several possibly a dozen or more. Deal with them.
Southern Thanalan, Broken Water
Just outside of the Sunken Temple lurks a Sandstone Golem, a giant made of earth and rock. Watch out for his fists if you decide to engage this beast.
Coffers of Ul'dah
Your party finds themself at the appointed orphanage in Limsa. As you make your way inside you are greeted by a spotless kitchen. Children are all about, tidying up the dishes from dinner, singing songs happily with one another as they go about their work. An older woman stands near the stove, presumably overseeing the work and ensuring the children are all fed. The air smells of fresh bread and stew.The party may stumble upon a hidden area….As you make your way up the stairs you see what appears to be a cage, empty for now. The bleachers are full of smiling faces, talking amongst themselves as they wait for the show. A few others mill about the cage around the room, clearly there aren’t enough seats here. You do notice the attire of most of those presents seems to be well made, perhaps a sign of wealth.
